On March 20, 2011, The Electric (www.electricsoundcompany.com), comprised of DJ Vadim (Russia/UK), Pugs Atomz (Chicago), and Sabira Jade (UK), made their last SXSW stop and first guest appearance at KOOP 91.7 fm on the program Hip Hop Hooray with dj t-kay.

The Electric and dj t-kay chat about The Electric's debut album, Life Is Moving (2011, Organically Grown Sounds), their SXSW experience, and the origins of the group. The Electric also perform live renditions of "Overloaded," "Give It To Me" remix of "So Now You Know" (world premiere!), and "Toot Toot."

Hip Hop Hooray, hosted by Miss Manners and dj t-kay, airs every Sunday from 2-3pm CST on KOOP 91.7 fm in Austin, Texas.
