On May 2, 2010, dj t-kay hosted fellow L.A.-based dublabrats (www.dublab.com) frosty, Ras G, Morpho, and Alexandra Pelly to discuss their music documentary project "Secondhand Sureshots," (dublab.com/secondhand/) which the Alamo Drafthouse screened for its Music Monday event.

frosty and Morpho, the film's producers, and t-kay chat about the film's exploration of audio/vinyl recycling and the adventures of four L.A. beat producers searching through thrift store bins for sounds to transform into their own. frosty shares some of his favorite tracks from the Secondhand Sureshots project and from other LA beat producers. Ras G does an impromptu live set.

Hip Hop Hooray, hosted by Miss Manners and dj t-kay, airs every Sunday from 2-3pm CST on KOOP 91.7 fm in Austin, Texas.
